Paris Hilton Shares Heartbreaking Message After Watching Her Home Burn in California Wildfires

Paris Hilton has expressed her profound sorrow after witnessing her Malibu home engulfed in flames during the recent California wildfires. The devastating fires, which began on January 7, 2025, caused widespread destruction across Southern California, with hurricane-force winds fanning the flames across the Pacific Coast and into Pasadena, surrounding Los Angeles with multiple active fires.

By the evening, reports confirmed that five people had lost their lives, and many residents were ordered to evacuate as the fires raged on. The National Weather Service issued a red flag warning for Los Angeles and Oxnard, CA, which remains in effect until tomorrow. LAPD chief Jim McDonnell commented on the unprecedented severity of the winds, which he described as “unlike anything he’d ever seen before,” and the fires have already destroyed over 1,000 structures, including homes along Malibu’s coastline.

Among the many homes affected, Paris Hilton’s property was among those ravaged by the flames. Hilton took to Twitter to share her devastation, revealing that she and her family watched in horror as their home “burned to the ground” on live television—a traumatic experience she said “no one should ever have to endure.”

In an emotional post, Hilton wrote, “Heartbroken beyond words […] This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.” Despite the overwhelming loss, Hilton expressed gratitude that her family was safe and extended her condolences to others who were affected by the fires.

“My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires,” Hilton added. “To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable. To know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.”

Hilton also shared that her 11:11 Media Impact Team is already in contact with various nonprofit organizations to offer assistance to those impacted by the fires, saying, “We’re committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most.”

In her post, Hilton took a moment to thank the first responders and firefighters, calling them “true heroes.” She expressed her immense gratitude for their bravery, sacrifice, and dedication to saving lives and fighting the fires. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote.

Hilton concluded by urging everyone to remain safe, follow evacuation orders, and hold onto hope that the fires would soon be contained. “Let’s protect one another and hold onto hope that these fires will soon be contained. Sending so much love and strength to all of you. We’re in this together, LA. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change.”
